Designer Lucila Diaz is the Founder and Creative Director of Harmony Sense Interiors Ltd. in North Vancouver, BC.
She established the company in 2006 with a clear mission to help her clients achieve their life’s goals by creating spaces that reflect and express who they are while enhancing their lives.
After having a successful career in marketing in the corporate world in Latin America, Lucila came to Canada in 2003 to complete an MBA at Sauder School of Business at UBC, she then became an entrepreneur following her passion for design.
Lucila believes that her job is surrounded by creativity, which to her, is more like a science than an art. She feels it is essential to listen and understand her clients’ needs and life’s goals and then find the picture-perfect balance between what each space has to offer with the know-how of where and how to find the ideal pieces to fulfill her clients’ demands. “I enjoy the challenges that every project has to offer, it is like a puzzle; you start building one piece at a time until you have a completed visual reality.”
With almost two decades of experience behind her, Lucila has had the opportunity to work in numerous projects from doing the Production Design for HGTV’s Property Brothers to styling hotels and yachts and being involved in the renovating and building of numerous homes creating along the way great relationships with trades and suppliers
Her work ranges from Home Staging, to complete concept Interior Designs for Renovations and New Builds. Hew firm offers turn-key services and Luxury Styling.
Her work has been published in a number of magazines and recognized with awards and nominations from different organizations.
Rather than pushing a specify style, the firm’s designs are always tailored to each client life’s goals, with high attention to detail. Lucila uses nature as one of her biggest sources of inspiration.

Lucila prides herself of her company’s values and makes sure that everyone in her company knows, understands and practices them with every interaction they have with the company’s clients, suppliers and within the company.
Lucila has an Honors degree in Interior Decorating and Design and an MBA from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. She is an accredited member of DDA Canada (Decorators & Designers Association of Canada), HAVAN (Homebuilders Association of Vancouver), NKBA (Kitchen and Bathroom Association) and of the VRARA (Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Association).
Patrizia Stirpe

Patrizia’s passion for design started at a young age. She grew up surrounded by the construction environment of her dad’s building company. Once she finished high school she went to business school and for many years she had a successful career managing and administrating business.
After moving to Canada almost 20 years ago, she decided to follow her passion and enrolled in the Management Certificate in Interior Design program at BCIT, she then decided to specialize even further and obtain a diploma in Kitchen & Bathroom Design.
Patrizia is an active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) and holds a certification in Kitchen and Bath Design (CKBD). Throughout her career, Patrizia has worked on multiple projects of varying sizes and styles. Each one has been unique and a true reflection of the clients she has worked with – always delivering functional and beautiful spaces. Her work holds a very high standard leading her to win multiple awards from the National Kitchen & Bath Association.
